It all began in a market square, among the scent of the sea and the warm wind blowing through the Sardinian hills.
It was 1997 when Angela and Remigio decided to load the soul of their products into a van and cross the sea to Sardinia.
There was no brand yet, no clear plan only the desire to create something real, in touch with people, with hands, with sunlight.
Sardinia welcomed them with its rugged and generous land.
The markets became home, workshop, and showcase.
Each morning, a stall to set up and a smile to exchange.
Each evening, the quiet joy of having been even just for a moment a part of the human landscape of that radiant island.
That’s where the seed of what we now call Ismeralda began to take root:
a story of courage, beauty, and deep roots.

OUR FRUITS
In 2015, something truly began to ripen.
Giuseppe, Silvia, and Denis raised among market stalls and fabrics
decided to embrace their family’s legacy and
transform it into something new, stable, and deeply rooted.
With courage and vision, they opened the first Ismeralda boutique in Porto Rotondo:
a small, carefully curated space made of linen, wood, and Mediterranean light.
From that first step, the vision gained momentum.
Today, Ismeralda has 15 boutiques across Italy and France,
from hidden corners of Sardinia to iconic fashion destinations like Via de’ Tornabuoni in Florence.
A journey built day by day, season after season,
with the same warm and gentle spirit of the early days.
Then came the dream: Porto Cervo.
A window to the world, a return to the elegant heart
of the island that first welcomed us.
NEW HORIZONS
At some point, the wind began to blow farther.
And like all living things, Ismeralda, too, felt the call of the world.
In 2024, we arrived in Mexico, in Tulum, with hearts full of gratitude and suitcases full of linen.
A wild, magnetic place made of light and salt, where our style found a new home.
There, between the jungle and the Caribbean Sea, a store was born not just a physical space, but a bridge between cultures, climates, and sensibilities.
Today, Ismeralda looks beyond borders.
With the same artisanal and poetic spirit, we aim to inhabit new cities, tell new stories,
and travel inside suitcases that depart and wardrobes that welcome.
Our vision is both simple and ambitious:
to bring the lightness of linen, natural elegance, and Mediterranean freedom
to the most beautiful places in the world.
Because Ismeralda is not just a place or a dress.
